Job Description:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of rolling mill machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Install, dismantle, repair, and overhaul mechanical components to ensure smooth production operations.
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical faults in rolling mill equipment, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and rotating machinery.
• Carry out alignment, bearing replacement, coupling fitting, and machine assembly activities.
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems for reliable equipment performance.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime and improve productivity.
• Read engineering drawings and execute maintenance work as per maintenance schedules.
• Replace worn-out mechanical components and ensure optimum equipment reliability.
• Maintain maintenance logs, inspection reports, and equipment history records.
• Follow safety procedures, maintenance standards, and company policies during all maintenance activities.
• Participate in shutdown maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency.
• Candidates with experience in rolling mills, steel plants, or heavy industrial mechanical maintenance will be preferred.
