Job Description:

Experience: Minimum 5 years
Role: Manage the billing process, prepare E-way bills/E-invoices, process purchase bills and payments, and maintain accurate financial records.

 

 

 

 

A Billing Executive generates and processes accurate invoices and bills, maintains financial records, resolves billing discrepancies, and manages customer accounts and inquiriesKey responsibilities include using billing software for tasks like e-invoicing, following up on payments, and collaborating with other departments, requiring strong attention to detail, communication skills, and proficiency with accounting tools. 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Invoice Generation & Processing:
    Create and send accurate invoices, bills, and other financial documents to customers or clients. 
     
  • Record Keeping:
    Maintain precise and up-to-date records of sales, billing transactions, and accounts receivable. 
     
  • Payment Management:
    Monitor outstanding balances, follow up on overdue payments, and process incoming payments. 
     
  • Customer Service:
    Respond to customer inquiries, resolve billing issues, and maintain strong client relationships. 
     
  • Discrepancy Resolution:
    Identify and correct billing errors or discrepancies to ensure accuracy. 
     
  • Billing Procedure Support:
    Assist in the development and improvement of billing processes and procedures. 
     
  • Inter-Departmental Coordination:
    Collaborate with sales, finance, and other internal teams to validate billing data and ensure smooth operations. 
     
  • Reporting:
    Prepare and present periodic billing reports to management for review. 
     
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Attention to Detail: Critical for ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. 
     
  • Strong Communication Skills: To handle customer inquiries and coordinate with internal teams. 
     
  • Organizational Skills: Necessary for managing multiple tasks and maintaining accurate records. 
     
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with billing software (e.g., Tally, Quickbooks) and Microsoft Office Suite. 
     
  • Analytical Skills: To review data, resolve discrepancies, and identify trends. 
     
  • Customer Service Aptitude: To effectively handle client interactions and address their concerns. 
     
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is often preferred.
