- Project Support: Provide technical input for projects, review designs, and ensure the operability of new and existing equipment.
- Scheduling and Planning: Develop and implement maintenance schedules and assist with resource forecasting.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and safety issues.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventories of tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Coordination: Liaise with other departments, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, though some roles may accept a high school diploma with extensive experience.
- Experience: Several years of experience in mechanical maintenance, with significant supervisory or leadership experience.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Deep understanding of mechanical systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with relevant software, such as project management and mechanical design software.
