Job Description:
An Area Sales Executive (Tractor Parts) is responsible for driving sales of tractor parts within a specific geographic area. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with dealers and retailers, managing sales teams, and ensuring parts availability to meet customer needs. They also focus on market analysis, competitor tracking, and developing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales Target Achievement:Meeting or exceeding sales targets for tractor parts within the assigned area.

Dealer and Retailer Management:Identifying, appointing, and managing distributors and retailers for spare parts. Building strong relationships with existing dealers and retailers to drive parts sales.

Sales Strategy Development:Developing and implementing sales strategies to increase market penetration and profitability.

Market Analysis:Analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to refine sales strategies.

Inventory Management:Working with the supply chain team to ensure optimal spare parts availability for dealers and retailers.

Team Management:Motivating, training, and managing sales teams to achieve individual and team sales targets.

Customer Relationship Management:Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers (dealers, service centers, and end-users).

Sales Promotion:Organizing sales promotion activities and events to boost sales.

Reporting and Analysis:Providing regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Sales Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably in the tractor or agricultural equipment industry.
- Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of tractor parts and their applications.
- Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with dealers and customers.
- Sales Skills: Ability to develop and execute sales strategies, manage sales teams, and achieve sales targets.
- Market Awareness: Knowledge of the local market, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Inventory Management: Understanding of inventory control and supply chain management.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel within the assigned area to visit dealerships and meet customers.
