Job Description:

The Junior Accountant will assist the accounting team in managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. This role is ideal for someone starting their accounting career who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and invoices.

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Perform bank and account reconciliations.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Prepare basic financial reports for management.

• Assist with payroll processing and tax filings as needed.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.

• Collaborate with team members on various accounting projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally).

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

• Internship or prior experience in accounting or finance.

• Familiarity with financial reporting standards and taxation.
