SUPERVISOR DISPATCH FOR FABRICATION PLANT - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

The Supervisor – Dispatch is responsible for overseeing the timely and efficient dispatch of fabricated products from the plant to customers or job sites. This role ensures accurate documentation, proper handling of materials, coordination with production and logistics teams, and compliance with safety and quality standards. The supervisor will lead the dispatch team, monitor workflows, and optimize delivery schedules to meet operational targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Dispatch Operations:

   • Supervise and coordinate the daily dispatch of fabricated products.

   • Ensure timely loading, routing, and transportation of materials.

   • Maintain accurate records of dispatch schedules, delivery notes, and inventory movements.

2. Team Management:

   • Lead, train, and mentor the dispatch team.

   • Assign responsibilities and monitor performance to meet operational targets.

   • Conduct regular team meetings and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

3. Coordination & Communication:

   • Liaise with production, warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams.

   • Communicate dispatch schedules and updates to relevant departments and clients.

   • Address and resolve issues related to deliveries, delays, or product discrepancies.

4. Documentation & Compliance:

   • Ensure proper documentation for all dispatched items, including delivery notes, invoices, and compliance paperwork.

   • Monitor adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards during loading and dispatch.

5. Reporting & Analytics:

   • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch reports.

   • Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, dispatch accuracy, and transportation efficiency.

   • Identify trends and propose improvements in dispatch operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Logistics/Operations Management or related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in dispatch/logistics, preferably in a fabrication, manufacturing, or heavy industry environment.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office, and inventory management software.

• Knowledge of safety standards and transportation regulations.
