Skills: 1. Strong understanding of Sponge Iron plant, Operation of multi kilns (300 TPD or more) and other related equipments.

2. Proven track record of successful plant management and operational excellence.

3. Knowledge of Health, Safety and environmental regulations.

4. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.

A Manager Process (SID) job involves overseeing operations, efficiency, and cost control in a Sponge Iron/Steel/DRI (SID) plant, focusing on optimizing production processes, managing teams (engineers/staff), ensuring quality/safety, handling maintenance, and planning production with raw materials to meet targets, often involving process automation and continuous improvement within a manufacturing context.

Core Responsibilities

Production & Operations: Supervise daily plant operations, manage production planning (raw materials, schedules), ensure smooth running, and maximize output.
Process Optimization: Analyze existing processes, identify bottlenecks, design improvements, implement new technologies, and control process parameters for quality and cost.
Cost & Quality Control: Control operational costs, manage raw material utilization, implement preventive maintenance, and maintain product quality standards.
Team Leadership: Train and develop engineers and staff, manage manpower, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Maintenance: Oversee maintenance and upkeep of process equipment, including commissioning and scheduling (preventive/corrective).
Documentation & Reporting: Develop process documentation, monitor KPIs, and report on performance to senior management.
