Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Quality Incharge to manage and oversee quality control operations at our Structural Steel Plant. The ideal candidate should have thorough knowledge of steel structures such as channels, beams, and angles, and be capable of handling all quality-related issues independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure quality standards are maintained at every stage of the production process.

Inspect raw materials, in-process, and finished goods including steel channels, beams, and angles.

Identify and resolve quality issues in fabrication, welding, cutting, and finishing.

Develop and implement quality control procedures and documentation.

Conduct regular quality audits and generate reports for management review.

Liaise with production and dispatch teams to ensure products meet client specifications.

Maintain compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and internal policies.

Train and guide quality team members to improve skills and awareness.

Handle non-conformities and take corrective and preventive actions.

Coordinate with clients or third-party inspectors during inspections or dispatch.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in relevant field.

Minimum 12 years of experience in quality control within a structural steel or fabrication plant.

Strong knowledge of structural steel materials, dimensions, tolerances, and fabrication processes.

Familiarity with welding standards, measuring instruments, and inspection tools.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle client queries and third-party inspection effectively.

Knowledge of ISO/QA documentation is preferred.
