Job Description:
A Quality Control (QC) Manager ensures products meet standards by leading teams, setting quality benchmarks, overseeing inspections/testing, analyzing data, and implementing process improvements (like Six Sigma/Lean) to boost consistency, reduce waste, and drive customer satisfaction, working across departments to integrate quality into the entire product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:Manage the QC/QA team, develop quality policies, and align quality goals with business objectives.

Standards & Compliance:Define quality standards (ISO, regulatory), ensure adherence, and conduct audits.

Process Oversight:Implement and monitor inspection, testing, and evaluation methods for raw materials and final products.

Data & Reporting:Analyze quality metrics, report findings to management, and use data for decision-making.

Problem Solving:Conduct root cause analysis for defects, implement corrective/preventive actions, and drive continuous improvement.

Collaboration:Work with engineering, operations, and sales to integrate quality throughout the production cycle.
Core Duties:
- Develop and update quality documentation (manuals, protocols).
- Select and manage quality inspection tools/software.
- Train staff on quality procedures.
- Manage customer feedback related to quality.
Essential Skills:
- Strong leadership and problem-solving.
- Acute attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of quality methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
