Job Overview
- Position Title: Store Incharge / Store Manager
- Reports To: Head of Department / Operations Manager / General Manager
- Job Objective: To maintain optimal inventory levels, supervise store/warehouse staff, manage inward and outward movement of goods, and ensure compliance with safety and company policies.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor stock levels, track fast-moving and slow-moving items, and initiate timely reorders or stock replenishments.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts, audits, and reconcile records with ERP systems or registers.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage, quality, and quantity discrepancies.
- Material Receipt & Issuance
- Verify incoming deliveries against Purchase Orders (POs) and delivery challans, and update Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
- Issue materials or stock against approved indents and record recipient details accurately Staff Supervision & Operations

- Supervise, schedule, and guide store helpers, packers, or retail assistants.
- Maintain store organization, cleanliness, proper labeling, and systematic placement (e.g., FIFO/LIFO methods). Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain inward/outward registers, stock ledgers, and inventory software/ERP entries.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock, consumption, and discrepancy reports for management.
