  • Strategic Sourcing & Policy: Design and execute long-term procurement and supply chain strategies aligned with company growth and profitability goals.
  • Vendor & Contract Management: Build a reliable, diversified local and global vendor base; negotiate high-value commercial contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and payment terms.
  • Cost Optimization & Budgeting: Drive continuous cost-reduction programs, value engineering, and spend analysis without compromising material quality or delivery timelines.
  • Risk & Disruption Mitigation: Anticipate market volatility, raw material price fluctuations, and geo-political or supplier risks by establishing contingency plans and dual-sourcing.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Legal to streamline material flow, inventory turns, and contractual compliance
  • Team Leadership: Mentor, lead, and evaluate a mid-to-large procurement department, setting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for punctuality, cost savings, and vendor compliance.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering (MBA or Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: 12 to 20+ years of progressive experience in procurement and supply chain leadership within manufacturing, heavy industry, real estate, or large-scale corporate infrastructure.
  • Certifications: Industry certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or CIPS are a strong advantage.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and spend-analytics software.
    • Deep market knowledge of direct/indirect commodity pricing and cost-estimation models.
  • Soft Skills: High-stakes negotiation acumen, strategic foresight, cross-cultural vendor relationship management, and executive communication.
