WELDER FOR STEEL PLANT - RAJGANGPUR , ODISHA

• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding symbols to plan layouts and dimensions. 
• Material Preparation: Measure, cut, bevel, and grind metal parts using saws, plasma cutters, or oxy-acetylene torches.
• Welding Operations: Perform MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), Stick (SMAW), or Flux-Cored (FCAW) welding in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Component Assembly: Align, clamp, and tack-weld pieces together prior to final continuous welding. 
• Inspection & Quality Control: Inspect finished welds for cracks, porosity, weak joints, or dimensional inaccuracies using precision instruments. 
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot welding machines, cables, and safety gear. 

• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques across various alloys and steels.
• Certifications: Vocational training or formal certifications (such as AWS or NCCER standards) preferred by most employers.
• Physical Stamina: Manual dexterity, steady hand-eye coordination, and the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended shifts.
• Safety Adherence: Strict compliance with workplace safety rules, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like heat-resistant gloves, helmets, and shields.
