Key Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Create and modify mechanical and electromechanical systems, products, and components using software.
- Testing & Prototyping: Build, test, and evaluate theoretical designs and physical prototypes.
- Analysis & Simulation: Perform data analysis, failure investigations, and simulations (such as FEA and CFD) to verify performance, safety, and reliability.
- Manufacturing Oversight: Oversee production processes, troubleshoot assembly issues, and collaborate with suppliers, technicians, and cross-functional teams.
- Documentation: Prepare technical reports, product specifications, and project budget estimates.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering field (Master's preferred by some employers).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Pro/E, SolidWorks) and analysis tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB, FEA, CFD).
- Strong foundation in mechanics, thermodynamics, kinematics, and materials science.
