Job Summary
We are seeking an organized, results-driven Store Manager to oversee all aspects of our retail operations. You will serve as the primary leader on the ground—managing team performance, maximizing sales profitability, and delivering an exceptional in-store brand experience. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and motivational leader with a deep understanding of retail business mechanics.
Key Responsibilities
- Staff Management & Leadership
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor store associates and supervisors.
- Create staff schedules, monitor daily performance, and conduct performance reviews.
- Delegate operational tasks and cross-train team members to maintain high productivity.
- Sales & Financial Performance
- Set and track daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
- Implement promotional strategies and local marketing campaigns to attract new customers and boost foot traffic.
- Manage controllable costs, oversee cash handling, and monitor payroll expenses.
- Inventory & Visual Merchandising
- Monitor stock levels, order new inventory, and manage product shipments and returns.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and promotional displays that align with brand guidelines.
- Control shrinkage, audit stock regularly, and minimize damaged goods.
- Customer Service & Operations
- Resolve escalated customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations.
- Handle administrative reporting, maintain operational paperwork, and liaise with corporate management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High school diploma required; a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven retail experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
- Software: Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, and MS Office / Google Workspace.
- Physical & Schedule Flexibility: Ability to stand for long periods and work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by retail traffic.
