SECURITY MIS OFFICER FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - ASANSOL,WESTBENGAL
Job Description:
- Data Security & Compliance: Monitor systems for security infractions, ensure adherence to data privacy laws (such as GDPR or DPDPA), and manage user access privileges.
- MIS Reporting & Dashboards: Collect, clean, and integrate operational data to generate daily, weekly, and monthly security and system performance reports.
- Auditing & Threat Tracking: Perform server and network security audits, investigate security breaches, and log questionable user activity.
- System Maintenance: Coordinate with IT teams to troubleshoot software, database, and network connectivity issues.
- Incident Documentation: Document and report findings from security incidents to refine organizational security policies.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel, SQL, database management, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Security Knowledge: Understanding of firewall configurations, VPNs, active directory, and cyber safety standards.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and cross-functional communication.
