CCTV OFFICER/ASSISTANT MANAGER FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - ASANSOL,WESTBENGAL
Job Description:
- Surveillance & Monitoring: Oversee live and recorded camera feeds (IP cameras, PTZ, thermal imaging) to detect suspicious behavior, security breaches, or safety hazards.
- System Management: Coordinate the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV hardware, NVR/DVR systems, and network infrastructure.
- Advanced Analytics: Implement and manage smart analytics like automated number plate recognition (ANPR), face recognition systems (FRS), and line-crossing detection.
- Incident Response: Coordinate with on-site security guards, local law enforcement, or emergency services during critical incidents.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain detailed incident logs, store digital video evidence securely, and adhere to local data protection and privacy laws.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with major surveillance brands (Hikvision, Honeywell, Pelco, Samsung) and networking (WAN/LAN).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, quick decision-making under pressure, and strong verbal communication.
- Experience: Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or relevant technical certification alongside 3 to 5 years of experience in security operations or IT infrastructure.
