PEB MANAGER FOR FRBRICATION PLANT - BERLA, BEMETARA CHHATTISGARH

Job Description:

• Position: PEB Manager / Plant Head (Pre-Engineered Buildings)

• Experience Required: 10+ Years

• Location: Berla, Bemetara District, Chhattisgarh

• Salary Budget: Up to 10 LPA (commensurate with experience)

• Industry: PEB Manufacturing, Structural Steel Fabrication, Heavy Engineering

• A. Production & Plant Operations

  • Plan, schedule, and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production targets for PEB components (main frames, secondary members, purlins, panels, etc.).

  • Oversee all shop floor activities including CNC cutting, fit-up, welding (MIG/SAW), blasting, and painting/coating lines.

  • Monitor machine availability, plan regular preventive maintenance, and minimize equipment downtime.

  B. Resource & Material Optimization

  • Maximize raw material utilization (steel plates, coils, H-beams, channels) and minimize scrap/wastage.

  • Manage deployment and shifting of manpower across different production bays to maintain seamless workflow.

  • Coordinate closely with procurement and dispatch teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and smooth dispatch of finished structures to project sites.

  C. Quality Control & Safety Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) standards for dimensional accuracy and weld integrity.

  • Enforce safety protocols across the shop floor (handling heavy machinery, overhead cranes, hot work, and mandatory PPE usage).

  • Maintain zero-harm work culture and conduct regular safety briefings and audits.

  D. Team Leadership & Reporting

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise shift-in-charges, production supervisors, fitters, welders, and crane operators.

  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly production efficiency reports, manpower utilization metrics, and output summaries to management
