CIVIL HEAD FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - TILDA , CHHATTISGARH

Job Description:

• Position Title: Civil Head / Head of Civil & Infrastructure

• Company: Heavy Industrial Manufacturing & Steel Sector (e.g., Gauri Ganesh Ispat Pvt. Ltd., Raipur / Chhattisgarh Region)

• Department: Projects & Civil Infrastructure

• Reporting To: Director / Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Vice President - Projects

• Project Planning & Execution: Direct the end-to-end execution of industrial civil works, including massive foundations for heavy machinery (rolling mills, induction furnaces, crushers), structural steel sheds, storage yards, internal roads, and drainage networks.

• CapEx Budgeting & Cost Control: Formulate and manage capital expenditure budgets, resource allocation plans, and project milestone schedules from initial concept to commercial commissioning.

• Design & Engineering Oversight: Review and approve structural drawings, architectural layouts, bar bending schedules (BBS), and geotechnical/soil mechanics reports in strict compliance with relevant Indian Standard (IS) codes.

• Contractor & Vendor Management: Lead contractor onboarding, contract negotiations, tendering, rate analysis, and monthly running account (RA) bill verification while collaborating with external structural consultants.

• Quality & Safety Assurance (HSE): Implement uncompromising Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) protocols for construction materials and enforce strict site safety rules across all active construction zones.

• Statutory & Regulatory Approvals: Secure and manage all required environmental clearances, local body statutory permissions, factory building plans, and industrial land compliance certificates.
