Job Description:
  1. Job Summary

Responsible for collecting, entering, updating, verifying and maintaining company data from various sources. The role involves accurate data entry, document collection, record maintenance, follow-up with customers/vendors/field teams, and preparing regular reports for management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect required data from customers, vendors, employees, field staff and other sources.
  • Enter and update data accurately in Excel, ERP, CRM or company software.
  • Verify collected information and identify missing or incorrect details.
  • Maintain records, files, documents and databases in an organized manner.
  • Perform regular follow-up for pending data, documents or information.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for data collection and verification.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly data reports.
  • Maintain Excel sheets, trackers and MIS records.
  • Scan, upload and maintain digital copies of required documents.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of company information.
  • Check data for duplication, errors and inconsistencies.
  • Update customer/vendor/employee records whenever required.
  • Prepare status reports and submit them to the concerned supervisor.
  • Maintain proper documentation of collected information.
  • Follow company procedures, reporting formats and deadlines.
  • Perform other data-related administrative tasks assigned by management.

Required Skills

  • Good typing and data-entry skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and basic computer operations.
  • Knowledge of Excel formulas such as SUM, COUNT, IF, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP is preferred.
  • Good accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of data.
  • Good communication and follow-up skills.
  • Basic knowledge of MIS and reporting.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to make calls or coordinate with field teams when required.

Qualification

  • 12th Pass minimum.
  • Graduate in any discipline preferred.
  • Diploma/Certificate in Computer Applications is an advantage.
  • Freshers can be considered for entry-level positions.
  • Relevant experience in data entry, collection, MIS or back-office work is preferred
