Job Description:
A oversees on-site construction activities, manages workforce and subcontractors, and ensures projects are built according to approved designs, budgets, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Supervision: Monitor daily construction work and ensure execution matches engineering drawings and specifications.
- Quality & Safety: Implement quality control checks and maintain strict compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Technical Guidance: Read and interpret complex technical drawings, resolve on-site engineering issues, and provide technical advice.
- Progress Tracking: Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for project managers and stakeholders.
- Resource Management: Coordinate the delivery and storage of materials, equipment, and labor allocations.
- Contractor Coordination: Liaise with subcontractors, architects, and consultants to keep the project schedule on track.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: Generally 4 to 10 years of total experience in construction or EPC infrastructure projects.
- Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, AutoCAD or similar software, and managing site documentation.
