Job Description:
A Senior Manager (Stores) leads daily store operations, manages inventory control, and supervises staff to achieve sales and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Oversight: Manage daily retail or warehouse store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, oversee audits, minimize shrinkage or loss, and maintain product availability.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate store staff and assistant managers to build high-performing teams.
- Financial Management: Track P&L statements, manage budgets, analyze sales data, and forecast future revenue goals.
- Customer Service & Merchandising: Maintain visual merchandising standards and resolve high-level customer inquiries or complaints.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 7+ years of progressive experience in retail operations, inventory management, or team supervision.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems, ERP software, and retail analytics tools.
- Core Competencies: Strong financial literacy, leadership, communication, and decision-making capabilities.
