Job Description:
A quality incharge supervises production and operational processes to ensure that all raw materials, intermediate items, and final products meet strict company, legal, and industry quality standards. Their main duties involve running tests, managing inspection teams, and fixing root causes of defects.
Inspection and Testing
- Check raw materials from suppliers before production starts.
- Inspect goods at different stages of the production line.
- Test final products for safety, durability, and correct size.
- Accept good items and reject defective ones.
Standards and Compliance
- Create and update clear quality control rules.
- Ensure work follows health, safety, and legal laws.
- Lead internal quality and compliance audits.
- Keep safety and quality records up to date.
Team Leadership and Training
- Supervise and guide quality inspectors and line workers.
- Train staff on proper testing and safety methods.
- Give feedback to fix daily operational mistakes.
Problem Solving and Reporting
- Find the main root cause when product defects happen.
- Stop waste, scrap, and rework to save money.
- Write and submit statistical reports for upper management.
- Handle customer complaints and fix product return issues.
