Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing and RFQs: Float enquiries, collect price quotes, and prepare comparative statements based on purchase requisitions.
- Material Procurement: Buy raw materials (steel scrap, billets), mechanical spares (mill guides, rolls, bearings), lubricants, and electrical parts.
- Vendor Management: Search and evaluate new suppliers, negotiate payment terms, and maintain reliable vendor networks.
- Order Processing: Raise purchase orders (POs) in enterprise software, track cargo delivery, and verify supplier invoices.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels to prevent factory shortages or excess stockpiling
