Job Description:
An HR Assistant provides administrative support to the human resources team by managing employee records, assisting with recruitment, and helping with daily operations. Key duties include scheduling interviews, onboarding new hires, and tracking attendance.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment Support: Post job openings, screen resumes, and schedule candidate interviews.
- Onboarding & Orientation: Prepare new hire paperwork, coordinate first-day logistics, and conduct basic orientation.
- Record Keeping: Update and maintain accurate employee files and databases using an HRIS.
- Employee Assistance: Act as a first point of contact for routine staff questions regarding company policies and benefits.
- Payroll & Leave Tracking: Monitor attendance, sick leave, and paid time off to supply data for payroll processing.
Requirements & Skills
- Education: High school diploma or a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- Computer Literacy: Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and experience with HR software or applicant tracking systems.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written skills for interacting with job applicants and staff members.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy when managing sensitive data, contracts, and compliance records.
- Discretion: Strict ability to maintain the confidentiality of employee and company information.
