An Assistant General Manager (AGM) and Deputy General Manager (DGM) are senior leadership roles bridging mid-management and executive leadership. They translate strategic objectives into daily operations, manage divisional budgets, lead cross-functional teams, and drive revenue growth or process optimization.

- Core Responsibilities:

- Cash Flow Management: Optimize working capital, manage fund allocation, and control cash flows across units/projects.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to tax laws, GST, TDS, and corporate regulations.
- ERP & Systems: Drive digitalization and automation of accounting processes using platforms like SAP or Oracle.
- Key Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance) with 12–15+ years of relevant corporate experience.
2. AGM/DGM - Human Resources (HR)
- Role Summary: Develops and implements HR strategies, talent acquisition pipelines, and employee engagement frameworks.
- Core Responsibilities:
- Talent Management: Spearhead recruitment, leadership development, and succession planning.
- Statutory & Labor Compliance: Manage plant-level or corporate labor laws, ESI, PF, and union negotiations.
- Performance & Culture: Drive the annual performance appraisal process and champion organizational culture.
- Payroll & Admin: Oversee payroll processing, office administration, and employee welfare programs.
- Key Qualifications: MBA in HR or Master’s in Personnel Management (MPM) with 15+ years of experience.
3. AGM/DGM - Operations / Production
- Role Summary: Manages end-to-end production, plant operations, or project execution to maximize output and control costs.
- Core Responsibilities:
- Production Targets: Set and monitor daily/weekly output quotas while maintaining quality standards.
- Cost Optimization: Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to reduce wastage and operational costs.
- Maintenance & Reliability: Oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
- EHS Compliance: Enforce environmental, health, and safety protocols to ensure zero-incident operations.
- Key Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech with 15–20 years in heavy manufacturing, apparel, or pharma, supplemented by strong floor-leadership skills.
4. AGM/DGM - Sales & Business Development
- Role Summary: Drives market expansion, customer acquisition, and overall revenue growth within assigned regions or portfolios.
- Core Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop go-to-market strategies and tactical action plans to meet financial targets.
