Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Store & Dispatch Officer to oversee our warehouse inventory and manage the efficient dispatch of finished goods. You will be the vital link between our production, sales, and logistics teams, ensuring seamless supply chain operations and 100% on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Store & Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular physical stock audits to reconcile with the ERP/WMS system.
- Manage stock receipt, storage, and issuance following standard procedures like FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out).
- Ensure proper warehousing conditions, including optimal space utilization, temperature control (if applicable), and material safety.
Dispatch & Logistics Operations
- Coordinate with transport agencies to arrange vehicles and ensure cost-effective, timely delivery of goods.
- Prepare and verify dispatch documents, including delivery challans, tax invoices, e-way bills, and packing lists.
- Oversee the packing and loading process to ensure products are secured correctly for transit.
- Track shipments in transit and proactively resolve any delays or routing issues.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive digital and physical logs of all inward and outward shipments.
- Generate regular reports on dispatch metrics, stock discrepancies, and logistics costs.
- Verify transport and freight bills against approved vendor rates prior to payment processing.
