FIELD SUPERVISOR FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

• Production Oversight: Manage daily shift activities, assign tasks to workers, and oversee machinery to meet strict project schedules and output quotas.
• Technical Operations: Read and interpret structural drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications for steel fabrication, fixing, or erection. 
• Quality Control: Conduct routine on-site inspections to ensure that steel elements, welding, and positioning comply with safety and industry standards (e.g., ISO). 
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict health and safety protocols, including the correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and heavy machinery operation. 
• Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and monitor the performance and attendance of field workers, fabricators, or technicians. 
• Reporting: Maintain daily logs of progress, material usage, equipment malfunctions, and any safety incidents, reporting directly to management. 

• Education & Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 10+2, though a diploma or degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is heavily preferred. Proven experience in industrial steel fabrication, erection, or heavy manufacturing is required.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of steel fixing, welding processes, and structural steel works.
• Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Excel and MS Word) is generally required for reporting and tracking inventory. 
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, time management, and problem-solving abilities to coordinate multiple teams and resolve operational bottlenecks.
