HOT SAW OPERATOR FOR STRUCTURAL ROLLINGMILL - RAIPUR, CHHATTISGARH

Job Description:

• Operate hot saw machines for cutting hot rolled steel products as per production requirements.
• Monitor cutting operations to ensure accurate dimensions, quality, and production efficiency.
• Set up and adjust machine parameters according to product specifications and production schedules.
• Inspect saw blades, cutting equipment, and machine components before and during operations.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance of hot saw equipment.
• Identify machine abnormalities and report mechanical or operational issues to the maintenance team.
• Coordinate with rolling mill, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure proper handling and movement of hot materials while following standard operating procedures.
• Maintain production records, machine logs, and shift reports accurately.
• Follow all safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and company policies while working in high-temperature environments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Candidates with experience in hot rolling mills, steel plants, or heavy manufacturing industries will be preferred.
