VP/GM SALES FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - KOLKATA , WEST BENGAL

Job Description:

• Provide strategic leadership for overall business operations, manufacturing performance, and organizational growth.
• Develop and execute corporate and operational strategies aligned with the company's long-term objectives.
• Oversee production, maintenance, engineering, projects, procurement, finance, HR, commercial, and quality functions.
• Drive operational excellence through productivity improvement, cost optimization, and process enhancement initiatives.
• Monitor plant performance, financial results, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve business targets.
• Lead budgeting, capital expenditure planning, resource allocation, and profitability improvement programs.
• Guide plant leadership teams in achieving production, quality, safety, and environmental compliance goals.
• Promote Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
• Build and mentor senior management teams while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, corporate governance standards, and company policies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, government authorities, and key business stakeholders.
• Candidates with extensive leadership experience in integrated steel plants, power plants, heavy engineering, or large manufacturing organizations will be preferred.
