PURCHASE MANAGER FOR - HYDERABAD

Job Description:

• Lead and manage the procurement of raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and capital equipment.
• Develop procurement strategies to ensure timely, cost-effective, and uninterrupted material availability.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors while maintaining long-term supplier relationships.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules to achieve cost optimization.
• Coordinate with production, stores, maintenance, finance, and planning teams to understand procurement requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement procurement plans to avoid shortages and excess stock.
• Review and approve purchase orders, quotations, and procurement documentation.
• Track supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of quality materials.
• Maintain procurement MIS, vendor records, and purchase reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives, strategic sourcing, and continuous process improvements.
• Candidates with experience in procurement within manufacturing, metals, steel, or heavy engineering industries will be preferred.
