Job Description:
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems to minimize production downtime.
- Carry out maintenance of pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, compressors, bearings, valves, and rotating equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
- Maintain maintenance schedules, work orders, inspection reports, and equipment history records.
- Assist in installation, alignment, commissioning, and overhauling of mechanical equipment.
- Ensure availability and proper utilization of maintenance tools, spares, and consumables.
- Follow safety procedures, maintenance standards, and statutory compliance during all maintenance activities.
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and plant productivity.
- Candidates with experience in steel plants, power plants, cement plants, or heavy manufacturing industries will be preferred.
