Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer Trainee (Fresher) or Junior Executive to join our DRI (Sponge Iron) Plant operations team. You will monitor, maintain, and optimize daily production processes to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor shift operations of the DRI kiln, cooler, and raw material handling systems.
- Track process parameters like temperature, pressure, and feed rates from the control room (DCS).
- Supervise floor workers to ensure daily production targets and quality standards are met.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and report deviations immediately to shift in-charges.
- Maintain daily logbooks detailing production outputs, raw material consumption, and downtime.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for breakdown handling and preventive maintenance.
- Enforce safety protocols including correct usage of PPE and adherence to environmental norms. [1, 2]
