UTILITY HELPER FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH
Job Description:
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport raw materials, scrap, and finished metal products across the plant. [1, 2, 3]
- Operational Assistance: Support machine operators, welders, and mechanics by holding tools, passing equipment, and preparing workpieces. [1, 2, 3]
- Maintenance Support: Assist with routine checks, lubricate machinery, and help dismantle or assemble parts during equipment repair. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Housekeeping: Sweep, clear debris, and maintain a tidy shop floor to prevent safety hazards. [1, 2]
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to the plant's safety guidelines, use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and report any environmental hazards immediately. [1, 2]
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labor and stand for long hours in demanding industrial environments.
- Tool Familiarity: Basic understanding of hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment.
- Teamwork: Strong ability to take direction from supervisors and communicate effectively with co-workers. [1, 2, 3]
