UTILITY WELDER FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

• Versatile Welding: Execute high-quality welds (MIG, TIG, Stick, and FCAW) on structural steel, plates, and pipes in multiple positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead). [1, 2, 3]
• Material Preparation: Read and interpret complex blueprints, structural drawings, and welding symbols. Measure, cut, and grind steel to exact specifications. [1, 2, 3]
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various welding machines, plasma cutters, and oxy-acetylene torches. [1]
• Plant Maintenance & Utility: Perform miscellaneous "utility" tasks as assigned. This includes operating forklifts or overhead cranes, assisting metal fabricators, and helping with facility repairs. [1, 2]
• Quality Assurance: Inspect welded surfaces for flaws, ensure structural integrity, and make sure all work adheres to industry safety standards (e.g., OSHA). [1, 2, 3]

• Experience: Typically 2+ years of verified welding or structural steel experience. [1, 2]
• Certifications: Valid AWS (American Welding Society) or equivalent welding certifications in relevant positions (e.g., 3G/4G structural) are highly preferred. [1, 2]
