SR. ACCOUNTANT FOR ELECTRICAL SHOWROOM - BARGARH , ODISHA

• Oversee point-of-sale (POS) systems and daily cash, credit, and digital collections.
• Verify supplier/vendor invoices and track accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform regular bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations. [1, 2, 3, 4]

• Reconcile physical inventory with system records to prevent stock shrinkage.
• Manage SKU codes, product pricing, and electrical equipment margins.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff for inward and outward stock verification. [1, 2]

• Prepare and file periodic GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconcile input tax credit (ITC).
• Manage TDS and TCS deductions and ensure timely government filings.
• Ensure all showroom operations adhere to state and national tax regulations. [1, 2, 3]

• Finalize accounts at month-end and year-end.
• Generate MIS reports regarding daily sales, expense tracking, and profitability.
• Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and expense audits. [1, 2, 3]

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or senior accounting experience, preferably in retail, trading, or electrical equipment.
• Technical Skills: High proficiency in accounting software like Tally Prime/ERP and Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Qualifications: B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent accounting qualification (Inter-CA / CA preferred).
