A reputed steel and power manufacturing company engaged in large-scale industrial operations is hiring an Assistant Instrument Technician to support instrumentation maintenance, calibration, and plant automation activities. • Assist in maintenance and calibration of industrial instruments and control systems.
• Support monitoring of PLC, SCADA, DCS, sensors, gauges, and automation equipment.
• Help in troubleshooting instrumentation and control system issues during operations.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production teams for smooth plant functioning.
• Assist in installation, testing, and servicing of instrumentation equipment.
• Maintain maintenance logs, calibration reports, and operational documentation accurately.
• Ensure proper functioning of process control and monitoring systems.
• Follow instrumentation safety standards, PPE usage, and company procedures strictly.
• Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities when required.
• Identify operational abnormalities and report issues to senior staff immediately.
• Candidates with instrumentation or industrial automation maintenance experience preferred.
