Job Description:
A reputed steel and power manufacturing company engaged in large-scale industrial operations is hiring an Assistant Welder to support welding, fabrication, and maintenance activities within the plant. - Assist in welding and fabrication work on plant machinery, structures, and equipment.
- Support arc, gas, MIG, TIG, and other welding operations as per work requirements.
- Help in repair and maintenance of damaged machinery and metal components.
- Read basic drawings, measurements, and welding instructions for assigned tasks.
- Ensure proper preparation of metal surfaces before welding activities.
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams for smooth operational support.
- Maintain welding tools, machines, and safety equipment properly.
- Follow welding safety standards, PPE usage, and company procedures strictly.
- Identify welding defects or equipment issues and report to senior staff.
- Support shutdown, maintenance, and fabrication activities during plant operations.
- Candidates with industrial welding or fabrication experience preferred.
