Job Description:
A Marketing Executive for a mineral processing plant drives B2B sales, manages client relationships, and promotes processed minerals (e.g., iron ore, coal, silica, dolomite). They conduct market research, negotiate contracts, and align production output with client demand to maximize profitability. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and acquire new B2B clients, including steel plants, cement manufacturers, chemical companies, and export markets.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct continuous market research to track mineral pricing, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, resolve client queries, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with plant operations, logistics, and quality assurance teams to ensure products meet exact client specifications (e.g., grade, purity, mesh size) and delivery timelines.
  • Contract Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and supply agreements.
  • Promotional Activities: Prepare marketing collateral (brochures, technical data sheets, and presentation templates) and represent the company at industry trade shows and exhibitions. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]
Essential Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Metallurgy, Mining Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience (typically 2-5 years) in industrial marketing, mining, or mineral processing/manufacturing sales.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with mineral grades, beneficiation processes (crushing, grinding, washing, magnetic separation), and the specific industrial applications of your plant's products.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and B2B communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
