PLANT MANAGER FOR CALCINED DOLOMITE PLANT - RAIGARH , CHHATTISGAR

• Oversee daily shift operations, production schedules, and overall facility output.
• Monitor kiln performance (e.g., Vertical Shaft Kilns or Rotary Kilns) and gas producer systems to ensure optimal heat management, draft, and air control.
• Implement preventative maintenance schedules for crushers, screens, kilns, and material handling equipment. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

• Ensure consistent Calcined Dolomite quality by frequently monitoring parameters like reactivity, Loss on Ignition (LOI), and Free \(CaO + MgO\).
• Manage product handling to prevent moisture absorption and control the generation of fines, as calcined dolomite is highly hygroscopic.
• Minimize fuel consumption and optimize raw material usage to maintain production costs. [1, 2]

• Enforce strict compliance with occupational safety and environmental regulations (e.g., controlling dust emissions and ensuring baghouse efficiency).
• Lead routine safety audits and ensure workforce adherence to PPE and hazard protocols. [1, 2, 3, 4]

• Recruit, train, and manage operators, shift supervisors, and the maintenance staff.
• Define performance goals, track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and foster a continuous improvement culture. [1, 2, 3, 4]

• Experience: Typically requires 8 to 15 years of operational experience in calcination plants, refractory manufacturing, or sponge iron/steel sectors.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of thermodynamics, VSK/Rotary kiln operations, coal/gas firing, and refractory life management.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, team leadership, and cross-departmental coordination skills (linking production with sales and maintenance)
