Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic MBA Fresher to join the Raw Material Department of a steel manufacturing company. The candidate will support procurement, inventory management, vendor coordination, logistics planning, and raw material analysis to ensure uninterrupted production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in procurement of raw materials such as:
  • Iron ore
  • Coal / Coke
  • Limestone
  • Scrap
  • Ferro alloys
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain stock records.
• Prepare MIS reports, purchase reports, and consumption analysis.
• Support logistics and transportation planning.
• Analyze raw material cost and market trends.
• Work with production and quality teams for material planning.
• Maintain documentation related to purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Use ERP/SAP systems for data entry and reporting.

Required Qualification

• MBA in:
  • Operations
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Logistics
  • Finance
  • Marketing (preferred if procurement exposure)
• Freshers can apply.
• Basic knowledge of steel manufacturing processes is an advantage.

Required Skills

• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Analytical and problem-solving ability
• MS Excel and reporting knowledge
• Basic understanding of supply chain and procurement
• Teamwork and coordination skills
• SAP/ERP knowledge preferred
