Job Description:
The HR Executive (Plant HR) acts as the bridge between management and the factory workforce (both permanent and contractual). They ensure seamless day-to-day operations, maintain compliance with labor laws, and drive employee engagement to ensure minimal disruptions to production. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Labor Management & Statutory Compliance
    • Ensure strict adherence to the Factories Act, BOCW Act, EPF, ESIC, and other labor regulations.
    • Monitor and verify contractor compliance, including attendance, minimum wages, and safety compliance for contractor staff.
    • Manage factory license renewals, compliance audits, and interactions with government officials.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding
    • Manage end-to-end recruitment for shop floor staff, technical operators, and site contractors.
    • Oversee induction, safety training, and onboarding documentation for new hires.
  • Payroll & Time Management
    • Manage daily attendance, shift scheduling, and overtime (OT) tracking.
    • Prepare monthly payroll inputs, including leave records and deductions.
  • Employee Relations & Welfare
    • Handle grievance redressal, dispute resolution, and union negotiations (where applicable).
    • Promote a positive work environment, manage employee amenities, and drive engagement activities.
  • Administrative & Safety Support
    • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper usage of safety equipment.
    • Coordinate plant admin activities, including canteen management and security personnel. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in HR, Personnel Management, or Industrial Relations.
  • Experience: 1-3years of experience in manufacturing, heavy engineering, or mining sectors.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of labor laws and factory regulations.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for managing a diverse workforce. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
