MECHANICAL ENGINEER FRESHER FOR FABRICATION PLANT- RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering fresher to join our fabrication plant. The candidate will assist in production, fabrication processes, quality control, and maintenance activities while learning industry standards and shop-floor operations.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Assist in fabrication activities such as cutting, welding, machining, bending, and assembly
• Support production planning and daily shop-floor operations
• Read and interpret engineering drawings (2D/3D) and fabrication blueprints
• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure quality and accuracy
• Conduct basic quality checks using measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, etc.)
• Assist in inspection of raw materials and finished products
• Coordinate with welders, fitters, machinists, and supervisors
• Follow safety rules and maintain 5S (housekeeping) standards in the plant
• Support maintenance team in troubleshooting mechanical equipment
• Maintain production and inspection reports

🧠 Required Skills & Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes (welding, machining, fabrication)
• Understanding of engineering drawings (AutoCAD basics preferred)
• Familiarity with measuring tools and instruments
• Knowledge of materials (steel, aluminum, alloys)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work on the shop floor

🎓 Educational Qualification

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

⭐ Preferred (Optional)

• Internship or training in fabrication/production industry
• Basic knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD / SolidWorks)
• Understanding of ISO quality standards
