Job Description:
A Manager Admin for a Power Plant is responsible for overseeing the non-technical, operational support functions, including human resources, logistics, procurement, facility maintenance, and safety compliance. This role ensures that the plant has the necessary resources to operate 24/7 by managing staff records, security, and administrative vendors.
Job Responsibilities
- Administrative Operations: Oversee daily administrative functions, including office management, document control, and record-keeping.
- Logistics & Procurement: Coordinate with vendors for equipment supplies, materials, and services, managing inventory levels.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with local labor laws, environmental regulations, and internal safety policies.
- Staff Management: Manage HR functions including employee attendance, scheduling, shift management, and training coordination.
- Reporting: Prepare periodic reports for senior management on operational metrics and administrative costs.
- Facility Management: Maintain plant security, housekeeping, and oversee repairs to the facility infrastructure.
Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in industrial or plant administration (3-5+ years).
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office/office software, and excellent communication.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory control systems and safety standards.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Efficiency of supply chain and inventory availability.
- Accuracy of employee attendance and payroll records.
- Compliance with statutory audit requirements.

The entity is engaged in setting up a Greenfield project at Mudpar --- Rampura villages in the Nawagarh tehsil, Bemetara district (near Mungeli), which includes 2×350 TPD DRI (sponge iron) kilns --- an 18-MW WHRB-based captive --- plant.
