Job Description:
Hospital nursing staff (Registered Nurses/Staff Nurses) provide direct patient care, including assessing health needs, administering medications, operating medical equipment, and developing care plans. They work in fast-paced environments, collaborating with doctors to ensure patient comfort and hygiene while maintaining accurate medical records. Essential skills include communication, empathy, and a valid license.
- Direct Patient Care: Perform physical examinations, monitor vital signs, and provide bedside care.
- Medical Procedures: Administer medications, initiate infusions, and assist in treatments.
- Patient Management: Oversee patient admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
- Communication & Support: Offer emotional and psychological support to patients and families.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate patient care records and report changes in conditions.
- Ward Management: Ensure a clean, safe environment, manage inventory, and supervise junior nursing staff.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: A nursing degree (Diploma, BSc, or MSc) from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Active, current nursing registration/license in the state of practice.
- Experience: Previous clinical experience in a hospital setting is often required.
- Skills: Strong communication, empathy, leadership, and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and sometimes ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
Working Conditions

- Shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
