Job Description:
A Fresher Food Plant Chemist ensures product quality and safety by testing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods against standards. Key duties include lab instrument calibration, assisting with food safety compliance (HACCP/FSMS), maintaining testing records, and documenting production analysis. Roles often focus on assisting in QC, chemical analysis, and supporting food technologists.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Control (QC) Testing: Analyze chemical, physical, and sensory characteristics of food samples.
- Instrumentation: Operate and maintain laboratory equipment (e.g., pH meters, spectrophotometers, moisture analyzers).
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of lab tests and quality inspections.
- Compliance: Adhere to food safety protocols, hygiene standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FSSAI, ISO).
- Process Support: Work with production teams to monitor in-process samples and reduce waste.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Food Technology, or Biochemistry.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in basic laboratory procedures, and good knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Attributes: Good communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a plant environment.
This role is critical for ensuring that food items are safe and compliant with health regulations.

So in 2004 we were establishment very big unit at Raipur(Chhattisgarh). Its second largest unit in India to manufacture Cassia Tora Splits.
