DISPATCH SUPERVISOR LOADING UNLOADING FOR RICE TRADERS - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

Job Description:

• Loading/Unloading Supervision: Supervise the loading and unloading of rice bags, ensuring proper stacking and preventing damage during transit.
• Inventory Control: Verify loaded or unloaded quantities against bills of lading, loading slips, or delivery challans. Maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) on all stock.
• Labor Management: Allocate tasks to labor staff, monitor their performance, and manage daily manpower needs.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare dispatch reports, maintain daily stock records, and manage transporter paperwork (LR/Challan).
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is used and that safety protocols are strictly followed in the warehouse.
• Quality Check: Monitor the cleanliness of trucks and ensure rice bags are not damaged during handling.
• Vehicle Coordination: Coordinate with drivers and transporters to ensure timely arrival and departure of vehicles. 

• Experience: 4+ years of experience in dispatch or loading/unloading supervision, preferably in the rice or agriculture industry.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (12th Pass) is typically required; a B.Com or B.A. may be preferred.
• Physical Stamina: The role often requires working long hours in a warehouse or factory environment, sometimes requiring 10-12 hour shifts.
• Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel or Tally for documentation.
  • Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
  • Ability to solve on-ground problems related to loading/transport. 
     

• Environment: Warehouse, rice mill, or loading dock.
• Shift: Often permanent day or rotational shifts, requiring long hours.
• Physicality: Involves standing for long periods and overseeing physical work.
