Job Description:
An Account Executive (AE) is a sales professional responsible for driving revenue by acquiring new clients, managing existing client relationships, and acting as the primary liaison between the client and the company. They identify leads, deliver sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and meet sales quotas. 
Key Responsibilities
    • Sales Generation: Prospecting, cold calling, networking, and closing new business deals to meet sales targets.
    • Client Relationship Management: Serving as the primary point of contact, understanding client needs, and providing solutions.
    • Presentations & Negotiations:
       Preparing and delivering persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and negotiating contracts.
  • Strategy & Analysis: Analyzing market trends, researching competitors, and developing strategies to secure new business.
  • Internal Coordination: Collaborating with marketing, product, or creative teams to ensure client requirements are met.
  • CRM Management: Maintaining accurate records of client interactions, pipeline, and sales forecasts. 
     
Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Sales Expertise: Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and nurture long-lasting client relationships.
  • Results-Oriented: Highly motivated to meet or exceed monthly or annual quotas.
  • Problem-Solving: Identifying client challenges and proposing effective solutions. 
     
Common Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in sales, account management, or customer service. 
This role is typically found in advertising agencies, software (SaaS), media, and financial services companies.
