Job Description:

A Power Press Operator is a skilled industrial professional responsible for configuring and operating mechanical or hydraulic press machines to cut, bend, punch, and shape metal components for manufacturing. They play a crucial role in industries such as automotive, electronics, and heavy machinery, ensuring high-precision production while strictly following safety protocols to handle high-pressure equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation & Setup:
  Operating power-driven presses to shape sheet metal, including setting, aligning, and adjusting dies and punches.
• Production Execution:
  Feeding metal strips or sheets into the machine, operating the press using foot pedals or hand levers, and removing finished parts.
• Quality Control:
  Inspecting machine output using measuring instruments like vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
  Performing routine maintenance such as oiling and cleaning, and addressing minor mechanical issues.
• Safety Compliance:
  Ensuring safety guards are in place, following all relevant safety protocols, and using personal protective equipment.
