DISPATCH EXECUTIVE FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH
Job Description:
- Logistics Planning: Coordinating daily dispatch schedules for finished goods (TMT bars, beams, pipes) to clients.
- Documentation: Preparing invoices, delivery challans, and E-way bills (GST compliance).
- Logistics & Transportation: Coordinating with transporters for vehicle placement and managing the loading process.
- Inventory & Stock: Maintaining accurate records of dispatched materials and coordinating with warehouse staff for stock reconciliation.
- Quality & Safety: Supervising loading to ensure product quality and safety norms are met during transportation.
- Client Communication: Communicating with sales teams and clients to provide updates on delivery status.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in logistics or dispatch, specifically within a steel or manufacturing industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP-ERP and MS Office (Excel).
- Logistics Knowledge: Understanding of transportation management, E-way billing, and inventory control.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to manage drivers, laborers, and customer inquiries.
- Education: Typically a Graduate in any discipline.
- ERP Systems: SAP-ERP for billing and inventory management.
- Documentation: Generation of E-way bills, tax invoices, and LR (Lorry Receipt) copies.
- Communication: Telephonic coordination with fleet managers and clients.
