MANAGER IT FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - TILDA , CHHATTISGARH

Job Description:

The IT Manager will oversee all information technology operations within the steel manufacturing company, ensuring robust IT infrastructure, secure systems, and seamless support for manufacturing, production, and administrative functions. The role involves planning, implementing, and managing IT systems to support business objectives, enhance efficiency, and maintain data security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals.

• Manage ERP systems and ensure integration with production, inventory, and finance processes.

• Oversee network infrastructure, servers, cloud solutions, and communication systems.

• Ensure cybersecurity protocols, data protection, and disaster recovery plans are in place.

• Lead IT projects, including software implementation, upgrades, and system optimization.

• Supervise IT staff, providing training, guidance, and performance management.

• Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and solutions.

• Monitor IT budgets, vendor contracts, and procurement of hardware/software.

• Maintain IT compliance with industry standards, safety, and regulatory requirements.

• Provide timely technical support and resolve IT-related issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• 7+ years of experience in IT management, preferably in manufacturing or heavy industry.

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, networking, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.

• Experience managing IT infrastructure and cross-functional IT projects.

• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

• Knowledge of steel manufacturing processes is an advantage.
